Management of Suppliers

The business performance of our suppliers is reflected to our customers as the performance of Borusan Lojistik. Based on this idea, we cooperate with our suppliers on a win-win principle and accordingly, exchange information to achieve cultural harmony. In this context, we conduct joint works in process improvement projects. Process development activities are further supported by 6 Sigma projects.

The management of our suppliers (selection, evaluation, development and recognition) are shaped around Borusan Lojistik policies and strategies. In the context of the supplier management processes, the performances of our suppliers are evaluated periodically. The areas where there is a room for development are determined to create Development Plans and actions are taken to improve our cooperation under such plans. Also, the Supplier of the Year Award is held at the end of each year to award suppliers in certain categories under the Supplier Day organization.

The Supplier Portal was created to improve and develop our cooperation with the suppliers we cooperate. On this portal, our suppliers can access the training sessions, other necessary information for increasing service quality and special opportunities provided to them by Borusan Lojistik.
